Drilling the basics, body conditioning, and functional self defense methods are a big part of our training. With this in mind we understand that most of us have full time jobs so even though the training will push you, we take every step to ensure that your training is fun and safe.

TAIJUTSU

Taijutsu, literally meaning "body skill" is a term for Japanese martial arts techniques that rely on the science of body movements. Taijutsu is a form of traditional Japanese unarmed combat common to a plethora of arts utilized throughout mainland Japan's history.

Historically, the word taijutsu was often used interchangeably with jujutsu as well as many other terms to refer to a range of martial skills. The term jujutsu itself was not coined until the 16th - 17th century.

Taijutsu has became a blanket term for a wide variety of traditional mixed martial arts schools of striking, grappling and related disciplines from the samurai and ninja of old Japan.

"In a street altercation size will often decide the outcome of a conflict; With proper instruction in Taijutsu, size will not matter, but the technique, the training, and the heart of the individual will decide the outcome."
